In 1965, the Ford Motor Company was using all the resources at its disposal to beat the might of Ferrari in international endurance racing.

After winning its first race ever at Daytona, the Ford GT was looking for a repeat a month later at the notoriously rough Sebring circuit.

Under the supervision of Carroll Shelby, Ford brought two GT40s and four Cobra Daytona Coupes to challenge the Ferraris, Porsches, and Corvette Grand Sports.

Drivers including Dan Gurney, Bruce McLaren, Mark Donohue, Graham Hill, Pedro Rodriguez, Ken Miles, and Phil Hill were ready to see who would take the checkered flag at the end of 12 grueling hours of racing.
